Base Salary
$120k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, security engineers, procurement contacts, and other client stakeholders to understand goals and strengthen customer relationships.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, customer engagements, and cybersecurity sales support tailored to diverse audiences.
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key security technologies through individual, team, and company training.
- Develop cybersecurity collateral, customer use cases, and lab demonstrations to support sales engagements.
- Develop and deliver new security services offerings in response to customer requests and opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of security technologies, market trends, industry developments, and SHI solution offerings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
- 3+ years of experience in security presales consulting.
- Intermediate experience with security frameworks including NIST, HITRUST, and CIS.
- Intermediate technical identity governance and security knowledge, including DLP, CASB, SWG, DSPM, USB control, file encryption, and ransomware recovery solutions.
- Ability to communicate and sell complex technical products or services by understanding customer needs and articulating value propositions.
- Expertise with mainstream technologies including Proofpoint, Mimecast, Abnormal, Rubrik, Varonis, Sentra, and Cohesity.
- Advanced certifications such as CISSP, relevant GIAC certification, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant cybersecurity OEM certifications are preferred.
