Responsibilities
- Develop, configure, enhance, troubleshoot, and support Parsec TrakSYS MES applications.
- Design and implement TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Business Logic, Dashboards, and Reports.
- Develop and consume REST APIs and Web Services and integrate TrakSYS with SAP/ERP systems, shop-floor equipment, OPC/Historians, and third-party applications.
- Develop and optimize C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server/T-SQL solutions.
- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, testing, debugging, root-cause analysis, deployment, and production support.
- Create technical documentation, design specifications, test cases, and support documentation.
- Participate in sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and technical discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to reusable components, automation, CI/CD improvements, and AI-assisted development initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience is stated in the project requirements; the detailed qualifications require 4+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years of MES implementation or support.
- At least 2 years of hands-on Parsec TrakSYS development and configuration experience is required.
- Strong hands-on programming skills in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and object-oriented programming are required.
- Experience with REST APIs, Web Services, system integrations, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL queries, views, functions, and stored procedures is required.
- Experience with TrakSYS Content Pages, Content Parts, Forms, Workflows, Data Models, Business Logic, Dashboards, and Reports is required.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes including Production, Quality, Inventory, Batch/Recipe Management, and Electronic Data Collection is required.
- Experience with deployment, troubleshooting, application support, IIS, Git, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD is required.
- A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or 15 years of full-time education, is stated.
- Ability to work independently, resolve complex application issues, communicate effectively, collaborate, and work in Agile delivery environments is required.
- Preferred qualifications include TrakSYS certification or formal training, industry experience in Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, Chemicals, or Manufacturing, knowledge of ISA-95, cloud technology exposure, AI-assisted development tools, and mentoring experience.
