Responsibilities
- Architect, build, deploy, maintain, and evolve redundant, resilient, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure and supporting environments.
- Design, build, and maintain Kubernetes clusters, namespaces, and deployments in production.
- Develop infrastructure as code and automation using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, workflows, and related tools.
- Support infrastructure monitoring and alerting, troubleshoot issues, and improve operational practices.
- Work directly with customers and stakeholders to gather requirements and communicate features and enhancements.
- Implement and maintain compliance and security practices in operational infrastructure.
- Train and mentor junior DevOps engineers and new team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional DevOps engineering experience.
- At least 4 years of experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, CircleCI, or GitLab.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS, ECS, Rancher, or similar tools.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet or Ansible and container technologies such as Docker or Docker Compose.
- Experience with scripting in Bash, Python, Ruby, Go, or JavaScript.
- Strong hands-on AWS solution-architecting experience and expertise designing and managing production Kubernetes clusters.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and managing CI/CD workflows and tools.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana, and the ELK stack, including Elasticsearch, Logstash, and Kibana.
- Strong knowledge of IP networking, VPNs, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and cloud-native infrastructure security.
- Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently or in a project team.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Professional, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator certification is preferred.
