Responsibilities
- Build and maintain React features for streamer and viewer experiences.
- Manage application state using Redux Toolkit.
- Develop and maintain live video and real-time communication features.
- Maintain a multi-target Webpack build.
- Optimize performance for a site serving millions of visits per day.
- Review code, including AI-generated code, and recommend improvements.
- Analyze existing processes and propose practical solutions.
- Participate in the full frontend lifecycle from design review through release.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional JavaScript experience and 2 years of React experience.
- Experience with a state management library such as Redux.
- Production experience with WebSockets, WebRTC, or another real-time communication technology.
- Experience with a modern build tool such as Webpack, Vite, or Rollup.
- Strong HTML and CSS skills, including SCSS or CSS Modules and responsive design.
- Sound software design skills and the ability to structure code around clear abstractions.
- Comfort with Git and merge-request workflows.
- Strong written and spoken English, analytical skills, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and teamwork.
- Experience working on a large-scale, high-traffic website.
- Preferred: SignalR or WebRTC experience, live video streaming experience, automated testing, linting, CI/CD pipelines, Node.js or another backend language, AI-generated code review, AI-focused workflow restructuring, or hands-on AI agent and automated workflow experience.
