Base Salary
$185k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build scalable APIs powering Fubo’s backend-driven user experiences worldwide.
- Own system performance and backend services end-to-end within a complex distributed microservices architecture.
- Ship features across web, mobile, Smart TV, Roku, and Apple TV.
- Partner with product managers, QA, and frontend and backend engineers throughout the product life cycle.
- Translate vague ideas into defined, delivered product features.
- Mentor engineers and share technical knowledge with teammates.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience shipping production code.
- Experience with Go or another strongly typed language is ideal.
- Experience building reliable backend services on cloud infrastructure, including GCP.
- Comfort deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, collaborate with product teams, and own features through delivery.
- Commitment to simple, maintainable, high-quality solutions and continuous learning.
- Ability to mentor teammates and contribute to an honest, empathetic feedback culture.
