Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to evaluate challenges and opportunities and discuss technical solutions.
- Participate in and lead discussions about selecting and creating client technology ecosystems.
- Share best practices for technical solution designs and guide client conversations.
- Configure and extend applications to meet business needs.
- Design and build sustainable technical solutions with long-term supportability in mind.
- Design and create architectures for reporting, analysis, and integration data.
- Design and create cloud-based environments for project delivery and production-system management.
Requirements
- Demonstrate strong coding capabilities in Endur JVS, OpenComponents, SQL, Java, C#, and .NET languages.
- Understand Endur technical architecture; strong Endur functional knowledge is a plus.
- Have 5+ years of commodities industry, consulting, or vendor experience.
- Understand energy supply, trading, and risk management.
- Have a basic understanding of options valuation and Value at Risk methodologies.
- Communicate effectively and work well with teammates and clients.
- Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, or Statistics are valued.
- Experience with Allegro, RightAngle, CXL, or other commercial energy trading and risk-management solutions is valued.
- Experience with option pricing models, risk models, applied mathematics/statistics, or advanced analytics is valued.
- Interest in emerging technologies such as quantum computing, AI, and ML is valued.
