Base Salary
$199k - $249k/yr
Responsibilities
- Advise on current AI security trends, models, innovations, and appropriate architectures.
- Partner with engineering, application security, and architecture teams to secure AI use across Addepar’s platform and internal productivity initiatives.
- Advise on or implement AI guardrails and controls to reduce data-loss risks and prevent insecure or unapproved AI use.
- Guide security teams in using AI for security benefits and maintain AI security documentation and guidance.
- Lead complex, project-driven security enhancements across infrastructure, applications, and the corporate environment.
- Architect, build, and deploy scalable and resilient security solutions with engineering and product teams.
- Build tools, guardrails, and automated workflows that help development teams ship secure code.
- Identify security posture gaps, design remediation plans, and execute them through maturity.
- Serve as a security advisor to engineering, product, and R&D teams and mentor junior and mid-level security engineers.
Requirements
- At least 9 years of dedicated experience in security engineering, application security, infrastructure security, data security, or cloud security.
- Proven ability to turn ambiguous security problems into structured project plans and execute them to completion.
- Deep expertise in AI security, AWS services, LLMs, MCP, agentic agents, AI frameworks, governance, regulations, attacks, guardrails, and cost considerations.
- Strong experience with Amazon Web Services, particularly AWS security services.
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols and securing non-human identities.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, written communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
- An AI-focused certification such as AAISM, AAIA, or CAISP is a plus.
- Knowledge of the NIST AI Framework, EU Artificial Intelligence Act, MITRE ATLAS, or OWASP Top 10 for LLMs is a plus.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree focused on Information Systems, Computer Science, or Security is a plus.
- Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and able to begin work in the U.S. on the first day.
