Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software primarily in C/C++.
- Develop system-level software including communication libraries, biometric SDKs, middleware, device drivers, and security infrastructure.
- Perform software development on Windows and Linux platforms with attention to performance, stability, and security.
- Contribute to software architecture, module, specification, and technical documentation design.
- Apply multithreading, multitasking, interprocess communication, and system programming concepts.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established development processes and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement related to software quality, security, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to deliver software components on schedule.
Requirements
- Substantial professional experience in C/C++ software development.
- At least five years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or three years with a master’s degree.
- Bachelor’s degree minimum, preferably a master’s degree, in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience developing device drivers for Windows, Linux, Android, or iOS.
- Strong working knowledge of either Windows or Linux, with basic knowledge of the other platform.
- Knowledge of secure and platform-independent coding practices.
- Familiarity with applied cryptography, PKI, X.509 certificates, and information security principles.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware or remote access platforms such as Citrix.
- Working knowledge of Python for build, testing, or automation scripts.
- Experience with image processing, computer vision, image signal processing pipelines, camera imaging systems, and image quality analysis.
- Basic understanding of artificial intelligence or deep learning concepts.
- Experience with software development tools and source control systems, preferably Git.
- Working knowledge of Czech or Slovak is required.
- Ability to work independently, manage priorities, complete tasks with minimal supervision, and collaborate effectively.
