Responsibilities
- Design and implement network automation solutions to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code templates for consistent network configurations.
- Identify automation opportunities and translate complex requirements into scalable processes.
- Oversee automation projects from conception through deployment and support.
- Conduct pre-release and post-release testing to identify and mitigate issues.
- Build and maintain an automation framework supporting self-service capabilities for internal customers.
- Document automation processes and maintain version control.
- Research emerging network automation technologies and propose capability-enhancing initiatives.
- Support the automation technology stack through business-as-usual activities and bug fixes.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and PostgreSQL for developing automated processes and APIs.
- Knowledge of network and security technologies, including TCP/IP, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with load balancing, caching, and cloud-based services.
- Experience with Ansible, Jenkins, and Git.
- Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with change and version control systems.
