Responsibilities
- Lead the design of automation frameworks for OS and container patching.
- Oversee CI/CD builder image pipelines and compute provisioning.
- Manage Artifactory and container registry operations.
- Implement container-based image governance and lifecycle tooling.
- Enforce AWS tagging, cost reporting, and optimization workflows.
- Act as a senior responder in the DevOps on-call rotation.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure and Platform teams to enhance shared systems.
- Define observability, alerting hygiene, and service-quality expectations.
- Drive systemic improvements to reduce manual work and increase safety.
- Author internal standards for image creation and CI/CD hygiene.
- Mentor Senior engineers on technical excellence and operational rigor.
- Champion operational readiness and risk-aware execution.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience operating production infrastructure in cloud-native environments.
- Deep expertise in Linux internals, container lifecycle, and CI/CD tooling.
- Strong experience with AWS services and large-scale cloud environments.
- Proficiency with CDK & Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code tools.
- Hands-on experience with Artifactory maintenance and security scanning.
- Strong incident response maturity and debugging frameworks.
- A proven track record of influencing standards and engineering culture.
- An automation-first mindset that eliminates toil and increases system safety.
