Base Salary
$189k - $243k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop maintainable and secure software to enhance Plaid infrastructure and protect sensitive data.
- Own, maintain, and build security infrastructure and services such as the Key Management System and Secure Token Service.
- Design and implement technical solutions that meet security, privacy, usability, scalability, and cost requirements.
- Consult with product engineers to help Plaid services meet security standards.
- Educate and support engineering teams in improving the security of their products and services.
- Participate in incident response and security awareness initiatives.
- Collaborate with security platform members and communicate project deliverables and progress.
Requirements
- Experience building scalable systems and services.
- Experience architecting software systems to meet security, privacy, usability, scalability, and cost requirements.
- Preferred experience with encryption, key management, secret management, certificate management, transport security, authentication, permission management, authorization, and security policy enforcement.
- Preferred experience securing critical and sensitive information assets and working with data platforms or data infrastructure.
- Preferred experience with threat modeling, security architecture reviews, or incident response.
- Passion for educating others about security and privacy.
