Responsibilities
- Own and deliver quarterly team goals while leading engineers through ambiguous, open-ended problems.
- Coordinate and implement major frontend product features from Figma or product requirements across critical projects.
- Modernize web code, design systems, and architecture using codemods, AI agent skills, and other tools.
- Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics to evaluate technical constraints, risks, and trade-offs.
- Lead cross-team technical and execution planning, identify issues, and drive horizontal initiatives to completion.
- Support artifact availability and operations through metrics, escalation, and on-call efforts.
- Set and improve code review and design standards, communicate practices through writing and tech talks, and mentor engineers.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience developing and architecting web applications with declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
- Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience working across multiple teams and driving horizontal initiatives with demonstrated leadership.
- Experience delivering major features or system components, deprecating existing functionality, and defining technical and execution plans.
- Ability to make significant changes safely in a large codebase using effective tools and practices.
- Strong ownership, growth mindset, and verbal and written communication skills.

- Base pay is CAD $153,000–$213,000 per year, with potential equity rewards and monthly health, wellness, and technology spending stipends.
