Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Adaptive AUTOSAR applications for automotive platforms running QNX.
Create, test, and publish end-to-end vehicle-integrated solutions and internal tools linked to cloud infrastructure.
Implement and maintain truck functionality while owning key parts of the technical roadmap.
Build products, prototypes, MVPs, and near-vehicle features.
Validate embedded solutions using hardware setups with real truck components.
Write test programs and scripts for QNX-based devices, including mocking environments.
Develop Python and C++ tools for software and hardware-in-the-loop testing.
Advise teams on embedded development, services, tooling, and processes in an automotive IoT environment.
Collaborate with electrical engineers to resolve issues and define specifications for next-generation ECUs.
Contribute to deployment of key platform features across all TRATON brands and provide technical guidance and mentorship.

Bachelor’s degree in a related field or comparable job expertise.
At least 5 years of professional experience.
Experience conceiving and implementing complex software solutions in an international context.
Expertise in embedded C++ development targeting QNX and Adaptive AUTOSAR.
Strong knowledge of MQTT, HTTP, IPC, Protobuf, networking, telecommunications protocols, and secure communication mechanisms.
Ability to debug end-to-end system issues across multiple technologies.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-service integration, such as AWS, for building and testing embedded software.
Proficiency in Python for rapid prototyping, tooling, and test automation.
Familiarity with UNIX/QNX configuration, networking, user and rights management, and system services.
Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship on Clean Code, architecture, and embedded development.
Very good written and spoken English skills.
