Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, maintain, and support ServiceNow ITOM solutions.
- Implement and support Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Management, CMDB, and MID Server capabilities.
- Develop Discovery schedules, patterns, probes, and sensors and build end-to-end Service Maps.
- Configure Event Management, alert correlation, automated remediation workflows, and CMDB governance processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow ITOM with enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
- Develop REST, SOAP, IntegrationHub, and Scripted API integrations.
- Customize Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Policies, Flow Designer workflows, and ACLs.
- Troubleshoot platform issues, optimize performance, and support upgrades and releases.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, security, and application teams.
- Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and knowledge articles and participate in reviews, testing, deployments, and Agile ceremonies.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of ServiceNow ITOM experience is required.
- Hands-on expertise in Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, CMDB, and MID Server administration.
- Knowledge of CMDB architecture, CSDM, identification and reconciliation rules, and data governance.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and ServiceNow platform development.
- Experience integrating enterprise monitoring and observability tools.
- Knowledge of Windows, Linux, networking, VMware virtualization, and AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, JSON, XML, and system integrations.
- Understanding of ITIL Incident, Problem, Change, and Configuration Management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred certifications include ServiceNow CSA, ServiceNow CAD, CIS-Discovery, CIS-Event Management, and ITIL Foundation.
- Preferred experience includes Cloud Discovery, Service Graph Connectors, Service Graph, Event Management connectors, Orchestration, Automation Engine, Infrastructure Automation, Kubernetes, Docker, DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native and hybrid infrastructure, observability, AIOps, operational analytics, and enterprise architecture frameworks.
