Base Salary
$99k - $134k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement full-stack application features from technical requirements and designs.
- Verify software through testing, code reviews, and documentation.
- Own technical risk, quality, software architecture, and long-term strategy for one or more applications.
- Translate stakeholder and business needs into scalable digital solutions.
- Architect and deploy AI/ML solutions, including LLM-based tools and agents.
- Design data architectures, ETLs, and reports.
- Establish or mature secure software development and DevSecOps practices across teams.
- Plan and lead large-scale system upgrades, platform modernizations, and technology migrations.
- Design and implement secure, scalable cloud architectures and lead cloud migrations.
- Mentor newer engineers, review code, support onboarding, and reinforce engineering standards.
- Research emerging technologies and present findings to expand team knowledge.
- Lead cross-team alignment and occasionally travel domestically and internationally.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
- Expert-level software development experience with Python, C#, TypeScript, CSS, and modern frameworks such as Vue or React.
- Experience architecting and deploying AI/ML solutions, leveraging LLMs, and building AI tools and agents.
- Experience designing and governing data architecture, including data structures, ETLs, and reports.
- Experience establishing or maturing DevSecOps practices, secure coding standards, security scanning, vulnerability management, and compliance processes.
- Experience planning and leading complex system upgrades, platform modernizations, or technology migrations.
- Experience with mobile development using native, React Native, or other frameworks.
- Experience designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures using Azure, AWS, or similar platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, collaboration, interpersonal, and time-management skills.
- Ability to evaluate technical risk, coordinate across teams, define migration strategies, and ensure continuity for mission-critical applications.
