Responsibilities
- Build and enhance QRT’s low-latency trading systems.
- Design, develop, validate, deploy, and provide production support for market data handlers, trading gateways, trading platforms, and related systems.
- Design and implement multithreaded and distributed systems.
- Apply C++ low-latency optimization techniques and support trading-system operations.
Requirements
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of low-latency Linux development experience using C/C++, STL, and Boost.
- Experience designing and implementing multithreaded and distributed systems.
- Knowledge of distributed network architecture, C++ optimization techniques, and the Linux/GCC development toolchain.
- Knowledge of market data feed handlers and execution gateways is highly desirable.
- Front-office trading desk experience is advantageous.
- Linux kernel, FPGA, and network card offloading experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team player.
