Responsibilities
- Build and evolve backend services in .NET for a production SaaS platform.
- Design and implement cloud-native applications on Azure, including containerized and Kubernetes/AKS deployments.
- Own end-to-end delivery through Azure DevOps, including CI/CD pipelines, testing, and release management.
- Build and maintain internal product tooling using PowerShell.
- Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or a similar tool.
- Drive production readiness across security, observability, reliability, and performance.
- Uphold code quality and testing standards.
- Contribute to front-end features using React and TypeScript as needed.
- Participate longer term in L3 on-call rotation, incident triage, and root-cause resolution.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience, primarily in backend .NET development.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Bash, Python, or a similar scripting language.
- Hands-on experience building and operating applications on a public cloud platform, preferably Azure, including compute, managed database, storage, and networking services.
- General Infrastructure-as-Code experience.
- Strong understanding of containerized applications; Kubernetes and AKS experience is desired.
- Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, preferably Azure DevOps.
- Strong debugging and production troubleshooting skills.
- Clear communication, self-direction, ownership, and outcome-focused execution.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with the Grafana LGTM observability stack is preferred.
- Practical use of agentic AI workflows based on Anthropic Claude Code or OpenAI Codex is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux and Bash terminal is preferred.
- Experience operating high-availability production SaaS environments is preferred.
