Base Salary
$160k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own platform initiatives end-to-end, including scoping, design, implementation, launch, and maintenance.
- Design and build integration infrastructure involving services, queues, data pipelines, and asynchronous workflows.
- Lead projects staffed with junior and mid-level engineers through code review, design feedback, and productivity-focused systems.
- Identify and eliminate recurring categories of problems rather than fixing isolated bugs.
- Set technical direction in ambiguous problem spaces and collaborate with Integrations Engineering and adjacent teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
- Computer Science degree or comparable experience.
- Demonstrated willingness to drive AI projects forward.
- Strong systems design skills, including defending tradeoffs and anticipating failure modes.
- Demonstrated autonomous leadership of ambiguous, multi-quarter projects through business outcomes.
- Preferred: third-party API integrations, authentication flows, rate limits, browser automation with Selenium, CDP, or Playwright, browser fingerprinting or detection, scalable concurrent services, backend platform or infrastructure, Python, fintech or comparable regulatory experience, and reducing on-call noise.
