Base Salary
$48k - $87k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and code software solutions supporting the Aeronautical Navigation Office.
- Modify existing GOTS code and integrate open-source software solutions for web application display.
- Create and document new and existing functionality in GitLab version-control repositories.
- Use C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, and Shell scripting in software development work.
- Participate in Agile development activities, including standups, planning, and increment planning, using Jira and Confluence.
- Assess tickets and collaborate with team members to test and deliver functionality against user story acceptance criteria.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python, or C# development frameworks.
- Experience working with web-enabled applications.
- Experience with software development or software integration projects in service-oriented, cloud, SOA, web-services, or virtualization environments.
- Strong organizational, communication, collaboration, attention-to-detail, and task-prioritization skills.
- Preferred: 0+ years of experience with DOD software requirements or government cloud environments.
- Preferred: AWS Solutions or DevOps certification, Jira and Confluence experience, active TS/SCI with polygraph, or a DOD 8570-compliant certification such as Security+.
