Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the ReadID SaaS server with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
- Add new ReadID features and integrate partner solutions such as facial recognition technologies.
- Support external developers using the ReadID server-side API interfaces.
- Create and maintain API documentation for customers and partners.
- Participate in automated testing to ensure reliability and quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues and customers worldwide in an agile environment.
- Optionally contribute to analytics, DevOps, CloudOps, or backend optimization initiatives.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Security, or a related field.
- At least seven years of professional experience in Java server-side development.
- Strong knowledge of Java EE or Jakarta, Spring, XML, and JSON.
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, and cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Understanding of security principles and familiarity with OWASP guidelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to lead complex issues from concept through production.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Experience with the ELK stack is advantageous.
- Experience with JavaScript, CSS, and Angular is preferred.
- Located within commuting distance of Enschede or Valencia, or willing to relocate.
