Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure automated CI/CD pipelines for application development and operations.
- Implement secure configuration, dependency management, deployment patterns, and security controls across the SDLC.
- Design, deploy, operate, and maintain enterprise development security platforms, secure package management solutions, and SecOps pipeline solutions.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to embed security controls into pipelines, tooling, and workflows.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring on secure coding, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
- Identify application security risks, recommend solutions, and drive adoption of security standards and patterns.
- Lead and participate in security-focused design reviews, code reviews, and pipeline security assessments.
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and U.S. citizenship.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technology discipline such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience substituted for education.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience designing, deploying, operating, and maintaining enterprise development security platforms, secure or vetted package management solutions, and SecOps CI/CD solutions.
- Significant DevOps or DevSecOps engineering experience supporting enterprise applications in hybrid and multiple-classification environments.
- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, application security, secure coding, common vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10, dependency scanning, container scanning, and secrets management.
- DoD 8140 IAT II-compliant certification.
- Ability to mentor and influence development teams and design scalable, reliable, and secure automation solutions.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder relationship-building skills.
