Responsibilities
- Design and deploy infrastructure, AI network, and solution architectures for SAP Cloud Infrastructure.
- Author architectural blueprints, whitepapers, architecture decision records, and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical blockers affecting customer project go-live and cloud adoption.
- Lead customer and partner workshops, technical discovery, briefings, use-case qualification, and scope definition.
- Build and validate end-to-end proofs of concept covering network integration, connectivity, security, and computing.
- Maintain standardized PoC templates, checklists, and demonstration assets aligned with approved service catalogs.
- Integrate AI tools and agents into engineering, troubleshooting, documentation, and automation work.
- Design and operate scalable, standardized, AI-optimized network infrastructure for cloud and AI workloads.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Applied Sciences, or equivalent practical experience, plus 10+ years of relevant experience in cloud and solution infrastructure technologies.
- Strong understanding of data center infrastructure, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, AI architectures, servers, storage, networking, and data center services.
- Expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or OpenStack.
- Knowledge of virtualization technologies and Kubernetes for hardware optimization.
- Hands-on networking experience, including EVPN-based fabric designs, VxLAN, and modern spine-leaf architectures.
- Familiarity with AI Core backend designs, low-latency and high-bandwidth inference workloads, AI factories, and building-block cell architectures.
- Proven ability to build infrastructure solutions, engage customers and vendors, coordinate proofs of concept, and prepare decision documents for senior management.
- Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, communication, presentation, written documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted infrastructure runbooks or tooling and context engineering for infrastructure and DevOps use cases.
