Responsibilities

  • Build product features end-to-end, from data modeling and implementation through post-launch reflection and continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement user-facing features and subtle interaction behaviors in Asana’s SaaS application.
  • Work with data representation, storage, deletion, asynchronous jobs, and efficient traversal of the Asana Work Graph.
  • Partner with legal to implement clear and effective data ownership rules.
  • Drive large, impactful projects used by large organizations.
  • Collaborate with UI designers, infrastructure teams, product management, and other stakeholders.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working within large, well-maintained codebases.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Sound judgment in balancing development velocity with high-quality, maintainable code.
  • Passion for user experience and strong attention to detail.
  • Interest in productivity, effective collaboration, AI tools, and emerging technologies.
