Responsibilities
- Build mission-critical backend services that deliver value to customers.
- Design, develop, and maintain Kafka Connect connectors for various databases.
- Work with open source technologies to implement Change Data Capture connectors.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues within a complex technical stack.
- Ensure operational readiness and meet performance SLA commitments.
- Drive process and operational improvements.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing and supporting backend systems in production.
- Proficiency in a major programming language such as Java, Go, or Python.
- Experience with distributed systems and microservices deployment using tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong project delivery and communication skills.
- Experience in driving operational excellence for large production services.
- BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience.
