- Build AI-native backend platform primitives for workflows, state management, event orchestration, and agent integrations.
- Design reliable and cost-effective agentic workflows, evaluation harnesses, and integration patterns.
- Build and iterate on internal workflow tools for research, requirements generation, technical discovery, design-to-code experimentation, customer data, service health, and operations automation.
- Translate broad product vision and monthly milestones into architectural decisions, implementation roadmaps, and delivery sequencing.
- Establish technical direction, write design documents and RFCs, and create primitives that other engineers can build against.
Requirements
- Proven senior staff-level experience designing, building, and operating complex backend or platform systems at scale.
- Demonstrated end-to-end architectural ownership, including expertise in data modeling, workflow engines, state machines, and event-driven architecture.
- Experience leading ambiguous 0-to-1 platform initiatives from discovery through launch and rapid iteration.
- Experience building internal tools or platforms for product creators and driving meaningful adoption.
- Strong conviction and practical experience with LLM agents, agentic systems, spec-driven development, AI tools, automation, or decision-support mechanisms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to align technical plans with senior executives.
