Base Salary

$87k - $165k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead research, design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and integration of test software and networks.
  • Troubleshoot software and electrical device problems on production lines.
  • Design and review major components or portions of functional test software.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and best practices for test software design and development.
  • Provide strategic guidance on test engineering design concepts, requirements, equipment, and coding techniques.
  • Present technical information and project findings to peers, management, and customers.
  • Support modernization of test solutions and develop engineering strategies and technical roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a STEM degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and at least 3 years of experience.
  • Prior experience in a software-related position is required.
  • Preferred experience includes Visual Basic, LabVIEW, RF and digital electronics, and software-controlled test equipment.
  • Preferred familiarity includes aerospace manufacturing, AS9100, and avionics buses including 1553, ARINC, CAN, RS485, RS232, and 1394.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects and adjust priorities based on business needs.
