Responsibilities
- Build and maintain IAM capabilities with a focused pod of developers.
- Contribute to backend systems with attention to reliability, scalability, and security.
- Participate in technical design discussions and break projects into actionable tasks.
- Identify improvements to authentication and authorization flows.
- Maintain IAM systems, including investigating and resolving production issues.
- Collaborate with product, security, and legal stakeholders on compliance and user-data integrity.
- Stay informed about evolving security practices, frameworks, and technologies.
Requirements
- Have 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Have experience with authentication protocols, SSO using SAML and OAuth, RBAC, and MFA.
- Have hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, and Apollo.
- Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and willingness to share knowledge.
- Show passion for IAM and security and an understanding of the threat landscape.
- Commit to clean, maintainable code and strong engineering practices.
