Base Salary
$135k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve APIs and Kubernetes controllers that provide infrastructure-agnostic runtimes for in-house and third-party developers.
- Use Kubernetes primitives and its broader open-source ecosystem to solve business-critical infrastructure and service-lifecycle problems at scale.
- Design and operate highly available distributed systems supporting hundreds of specialized microservices.
- Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver sustainable technical solutions.
- Drive a long-term technology roadmap that reduces operational burden and risk while improving scalability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 1 year contributing to system design or architecture for new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience mentoring, serving as a tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
- Strong coding skills in Go, Java, or equivalent.
- Experience designing, building, and operating high-scale observability or infrastructure systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
