Base Salary
$112k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead Salesforce architecture and delivery in partnership with VA stakeholders and ensure compliance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
- Define the Salesforce target-state architecture, prioritizing declarative and out-of-the-box capabilities before programmatic customization.
- Guide configuration, development, testing, validation, and promotion across DTC-provisioned SaaS and PaaS sandboxes.
- Establish Salesforce DevOps practices covering source-driven development, Git version control, CI/CD pipelines, sandbox management, and release governance.
- Validate technical designs, resolve risks and integration gaps, and document requirements for features, enhancements, and release packages.
- Design and govern Agentforce capabilities, including agent topics, actions, guardrails, and grounding in trusted VA data.
- Serve as the technical escalation point and mentor developers and administrators through design reviews, code reviews, platform governance, and technical debt reduction.
- Document system architecture, object and data models, CRUD and security requirements, automation and UI specifications, and integration patterns.
- Design integrations using APIs, platform events, middleware, and related SaaS/PaaS platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 12 years of experience, master’s degree with 10 years of experience, or PhD with 7 years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Demonstrated Salesforce integration experience using API-based and middleware-driven patterns.
- Hands-on experience designing and deploying Agentforce and other agentic capabilities.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling and source-driven development, such as Salesforce DevOps Center, Gearset, Copado, or equivalent.
- Experience integrating SaaS/PaaS platforms including Salesforce, Pega, Microsoft Power Platform, and ServiceNow.
- Proven experience delivering technical solutions using a Human-Centered Design approach.
- Salesforce architect or developer certifications are preferred.
- Experience with Agile SAFe methods in a government environment and familiarity with Salesforce Accelerator, Jira, or similar tools are preferred.
- Experience with Data Cloud and/or CRM Analytics is preferred.
