Junior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Responsibilities
- Execute manual end-to-end and regression testing for web, mobile, and backend applications.
- Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites using Java and Playwright.
- Test mobile applications on iOS and Android devices.
- Validate REST APIs and backend services using testing and debugging tools.
- Identify, document, track, investigate, and help resolve software defects.
- Maintain reliable automated tests and contribute to CI/CD and continuous quality improvements.
- Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, feature reviews, and test planning.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product managers, and senior SDETs on high-quality releases.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with Java programming and manual testing of web applications.
- Experience with or exposure to Playwright or other test automation frameworks.
- Experience testing mobile applications on Android and/or iOS devices.
- Understanding of software testing fundamentals, software development lifecycles, and defect management processes.
- Analytical thinking, attention to detail, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies in a collaborative Agile environment.
- Interest in cloud-based SaaS platforms, connected technologies, or electric vehicle charging solutions is a plus.
- Applicants must be authorized to work full-time in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
