Responsibilities
- Design, implement, lead development of, and test scalable web application features.
- Own critical components across frontend frameworks and backend services from end to end.
- Debug, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues and performance bottlenecks across the stack.
- Optimize code and system architecture for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Mentor junior engineers, lead complex cross-team code reviews, and help establish quality and performance standards.
- Translate complex product and technical requirements into clean, efficient, working code.
- Collaborate with Product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver enterprise SaaS products.
- Determine methods and procedures for new assignments while working independently with review at critical points.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of related professional software development experience.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, time and space complexity, and object-oriented programming.
- Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and backend programming with Java, JavaScript/Node.js, or Python.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices, application communication, databases, and data modeling.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with DevOps workflows, release management, and continuous improvement practices.
- Working knowledge of Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
- Understanding of AWS services for compute, storage, and networking.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment workflows.
- Willingness to be based in Pune.
