Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, troubleshoot, maintain, integrate, and optimize PLC, HMI, SCADA, and industrial control system applications.
- Program and integrate control systems using Allen-Bradley, ABB, Emerson, Red Lion, Beijer, and Ignition platforms.
- Interpret Cause & Effect matrices, Control Narratives, P&IDs, electrical schematics, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation documentation to develop control logic.
- Perform factory acceptance testing, system validation, troubleshooting, and functional testing of control system designs.
- Commission PLC, HMI, SCADA, instrumentation, and control systems in the field.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain communication networks and protocol converters.
- Maintain programming documentation, backups, configuration files, drawings, and system records.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI, SCADA development, instrumentation, and industrial communications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods and work in vehicles at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to work in customer MCCs, vehicles, and outdoors subject to the elements.
