Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Pega applications and technical assets for client business-process optimization.
  • Participate in application design, development, quality assurance, deployment, support, and performance tuning.
  • Implement case management, class structures, integrations, security models, reporting, process flows, rules, data pages, listeners, schedulers, and queue processors.
  • Develop Pega user interfaces and portals while applying Pega best practices and guardrail improvement techniques.
  • Update technical architecture, design documentation, unit tests, project status, and client communications.
  • Ensure timely delivery, quality compliance, policy adherence, and productive relationships with client and onsite personnel.
  • Coordinate or handle a small team of Pega developers and participate in Scrum ceremonies and organizational initiatives.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of Pega application development experience using the Pega Development platform.
  • Completion of at least 3–4 end-to-end Pega project implementations and hands-on experience across 5–6 projects.
  • Experience handling a small team of Pega developers.
  • Hands-on experience with Case Management, Class Structure Design, Pega Integrations, RBAC and ABAC security models, and Reporting.
  • Experience with Process Flows, Decision and Declarative Rules, Data Pages, File and Email Listeners, Job Schedulers, and Queue Processors.
  • Good knowledge of Pega UI and portal development, REST and SOAP APIs, Pega performance tuning, and Pega best practices.
  • Understanding of relational databases and hands-on PL/SQL experience.
  • Strong communication, presentation, interpersonal, reporting, and client relationship skills.
  • Working knowledge of project implementation methodologies and willingness to cross-skill and cross-train.
  • A degree in a listed technical discipline and 2–3 years of experience with Big 4 or panelled SI/ITeS companies are identified as ideal qualifications.
  • Experience with Pega CDH, CLM, CRM, or SD frameworks; Pega Deployment Manager; Pega CSSA/CLSA 7.x/8.x certification; Pega Constellation; and React.js are advantageous.
