Responsibilities
- Research, design, and prototype solutions using optimization, machine learning, large language models, agentic AI, and modern software engineering.
- Develop software components, services, APIs, and analytical models for business challenges across Infor ERP solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, algorithms, frameworks, and foundation models for enterprise software products.
- Design and implement scalable, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Work with large datasets to develop, train, evaluate, and deploy data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, product managers, and domain experts on end-to-end technical solutions.
- Prototype integrations with existing product architectures and assess customer value, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain experiments, source code, development artifacts, and technical documentation in GitLab.
Requirements
- Be a final-year candidate in a Master's or Engineering program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Operations Research, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Have software development experience in Python and familiarity with software engineering fundamentals.
- Have exposure to machine learning, optimization, data science, artificial intelligence, distributed systems, or enterprise application development.
- Be familiar with scientific and data-analysis libraries used in machine learning, optimization, and analytics.
- Have a basic understanding of SQL, data processing frameworks, or API-based application development.
- Be familiar with software development environments, Git source control, and CI/CD practices.
- Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include experience or strong interest in machine learning, optimization, agentic AI, large language models, or modern software engineering.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with PyTorch, Transformers, OR-Tools, Spring Boot, Node.js, Docker, cloud platforms, data models, relational databases, large-scale data processing, foundation models, retrieval systems, AI-agent frameworks, Agile practices, and Jira.
