Entry Level Software Engineer

- Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to build applications that train and serve machine-learning models and make large datasets accessible.
- Develop data pipelines and analytics using engineering, program, manufacturing, vehicle telemetry, and software integration data.
- Preprocess structured and unstructured data and deploy scalable AI/ML-powered analytics and prognostics applications in a cloud environment.
- Analyze diverse datasets to identify trends and patterns supporting executive decisions, vehicle launches, and quality improvements.
- Create data visualizations and user-interface applications that communicate insights to business clients.
- Develop repeatable and scalable code bases and processes to improve development and execution efficiency.
- Collaborate with data governance, infrastructure, architecture, and operations teams on platform management and technology migrations.
- Monitor emerging technologies and use GenAI where appropriate to improve productivity.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or data science.
- Graduating between December 2026 and August 2027.
- Proficiency in Python.
- Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, in Southeast Michigan.
- Familiarity with Power BI and Databricks Dashboard is preferred.
- Familiarity with SQL, Databricks, and Azure Cloud is preferred.
- Familiarity with data storage solutions, databases, and data processing frameworks is preferred.
- Experience building AI/ML-based solutions is preferred.
- Must not require current or future GM immigration sponsorship.
