Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and develop performant, robust, and scalable user interfaces.
- Package and integrate APIs into modern web platforms.
- Improve user experience and workflow efficiency while reducing operational costs.
- Collaborate with back-end teams and domain experts to understand end-user needs and design appropriate technical solutions.
- Act as the front-end technical reference by structuring architecture decisions, raising team technical standards, and sharing expertise internally and externally.
- Contribute to a strong engineering culture and high standards of software quality.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience with a modern web stack.
- Expertise in React and TypeScript is required.
- Experience deploying complex systems on cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Ability to evaluate technical trade-offs, anticipate technical debt, and make sound architecture decisions.
- Commitment to high-quality code and automated testing, with the ability to deliver on schedule.
- Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and ability to establish reports.
- Strong spoken and written English and willingness to collaborate with international clients, partners, and open-source communities.
- Experience with MapBox, Leaflet, geospatial products, or WebGL is preferred.
- Full-stack capability with technologies such as Python or Node.js and prior end-to-end product responsibility are additional advantages.
- Active participation in the front-end community through technical blogs, conferences, open-source projects, or ongoing learning is preferred.
- Experience in startups or high-reliability environments such as cloud, defense, or aerospace, including direct responsibility for maintaining and improving products, infrastructure, and processes, is a strong advantage.
