Base Salary
$158k - $325k/yr
Responsibilities
- Optimize prompts, red-team LLMs, and improve model robustness for life-science NLP applications.
- Build pipelines and infrastructure to deploy AI systems reliably, safely, and at scale.
- Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate user needs into AI-driven features.
- Develop evaluation frameworks for model accuracy, fairness, and trustworthiness in real-world life-science settings.
- Prototype and iterate rapidly while maintaining rigor for high-stakes applications.
- Create tools and workflows that improve AI development efficiency across the team.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building and deploying ML/AI systems in production.
- Strong foundation in deploying search and retrieval systems and NLP applications.
- Ability to bridge research and engineering from model prototyping through user-facing product delivery.
- Comfort working in an early-stage startup with ambiguity and high ownership.
- Motivation to apply AI to life sciences with a focus on reliability, safety, and impact.
