Cognite - AI for IndustryResponsibilities
- Set and maintain data model quality and system architecture standards across strategic accounts.
- Design and implement industrial data models in Cognite Data Fusion to provide ground truth for LLMs and agentic workflows.
- Architect multi-agent systems incorporating LLMs, tool use, evaluation loops, and reasoning over industrial data.
- Work directly with customer technical teams, including on-site, to refine use cases and integrate solutions into production.
- Identify and document repeatable architectural patterns for enterprise-scale delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers in systems thinking and Cognite Data Fusion best practices.
- Feed customer and delivery learnings into the product roadmap.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering or solution architecture, ideally including AI solution architecture and direct customer-facing work.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, prompt engineering, and related AI techniques.
- Proven experience designing and shipping enterprise-scale software architectures, preferably in AI or data-heavy environments.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive audiences.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, scalable code and follow strong testing, version control, and code review practices.
- Familiarity with modern AI development workflows, rapid iteration, and agentic engineering tools.
- Understanding of industrial data types such as time series and knowledge graphs is preferred.
- Experience with Cognite Data Fusion is preferred.
- Familiarity with vector databases and RAG architectures is preferred.
- Cloud-native development experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP is preferred.
- Exposure to manufacturing, energy, process industries, or other industrial domains is preferred.
- Experience with industrial control systems is preferred.
- Fluency with agentic coding tools and their implications for software engineering and industrial workflows is preferred.
