Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal and external teams to debug, troubleshoot, verify, and validate software functionality.
- Develop and maintain automated software test suites using Python and Selenium.
- Design and develop Python-based simulation programs to validate software performance and functionality.
- Deploy and manage Docker service containers on RHEL systems.
- Automate processes and tooling using Bash scripting.
- Create and maintain documentation for software installation, operations, and troubleshooting.
- Perform hands-on integration and testing remotely and on-site, including incident diagnosis and root cause analysis.
- Provide up to 10% travel for on-site installation and field support activities.
Requirements
- AA degree in a related discipline and three years of related experience, or a high school education, relevant certification, and five years of related experience.
- At least one year of experience testing software or working in related technical roles.
- Strong Python scripting and automation experience, Bash scripting knowledge, Docker familiarity, Selenium experience, and hands-on RHEL experience.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Secret Clearance at the start of employment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with messaging systems such as DDS, unmanned vehicles or robotics systems, software debugging and troubleshooting, customer-facing field support, and testing or integration aboard vessels.
