Responsibilities
- Drive product or infrastructure direction from initial development to scalable solutions.
- Deliver a highly scalable and fault-tolerant engine processing hundreds of TB of data daily.
- Perform low-level systems debugging and optimization on large production clusters.
- Build architecture design and influence product roadmap.
- Prevent and investigate production issues using deep experience.
- Plan and lead complicated technical projects across multiple teams.
- Serve as a strong influencer in the organization’s roadmap.
- Lead technical review committees and sustain engineering initiatives.
- Break down complex problems into potential solutions and de-risk through prototyping.
- Mentor team members and participate in project planning.
Requirements
- 15+ years of industry experience in building large-scale distributed systems.
- Ability to work towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables.
- Motivated by delivering customer value and impact.
- Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
- Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
