Responsibilities
- Validate Factory Install framework and processes across commercial and consumer systems.
- Contribute to factory-readiness and ready-to-ship milestones through thorough validation coverage.
- Verify installation and test scripts with development teams.
- Duplicate and troubleshoot factory issues with platform teams.
- Develop, review, and implement validation strategies for operating systems, applications, drivers, and test processes.
- Draft, review, and implement process documentation for the Factory Install Validation team.
- Collaborate with developers and project managers in regular meetings.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of related experience.
- Validated knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, firmware, BIOS, device drivers, networking, embedded software and firmware, tools, and utilities.
- Ability to read and debug Python and C scripts.
- Ability to learn new tools, languages, and operating systems through training and on-the-job experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.
- A bachelor’s degree is desirable.
