Responsibilities

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for software applications and systems.
  • Design, develop, deploy, operate, and maintain complex software applications and systems.
  • Manage execution and delivery of features and projects, including priorities and deadlines.
  • Participate in design reviews and architectural design for scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.
  • Review code and provide feedback to maintain technical quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Build testable software, define tests, and automate testing using tools such as JUnit and Selenium.
  • Maintain service health and quality, resolve incidents, analyze root causes, and prevent recurrence.
  • Own software delivery from requirements through design, development, testing, deployment, and production operation in a DevOps model.
  • Document features, enhancements, fixes, and training materials.
  • Mentor junior colleagues and collaborate with peers, stakeholders, and product management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Deep expertise in one or more of C++, C#, .NET, Python, Java, or JavaScript.
  • Extensive experience with software development practices and design patterns.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and JIRA.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and DevOps principles.
  • Preferred: experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; CI/CD pipelines; automation tools; test automation frameworks; accessible solutions; and agile development methodologies.
  • Preferred: strong customer empathy, communication, interpersonal, and collaborative teamwork skills.
