Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and production deployment of scalable generative AI and machine learning systems.
- Develop end-to-end generative AI features including backend API services, model integration, monitoring, evaluations, and deployments.
- Integrate and optimize LLMs for business-planning use cases using prompt engineering and retrieval-augmented generation.
- Build conversational interfaces and agentic workflows for complex planning tasks.
- Implement evaluation frameworks measuring feature accuracy, latency, and user satisfaction.
- Design and develop APIs exposing AI capabilities to Anaplan and third-party integrations.
- Optimize model inference pipelines for production performance, cost, and scalability.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and observability to track usage, errors, and model behavior.
- Collaborate with data scientists to productionize machine learning models and forecasting algorithms.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on professional experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, or related engineering domains.
- Extensive experience developing, training, and deploying ML models throughout the model lifecycle in production environments.
- Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and conversational AI patterns.
- Experience fine-tuning LLMs for domain-specific enterprise applications.
- Strong expertise in MLOps and LLMOps for scalable, reliable, and monitorable model deployments.
- Experience with agentic frameworks and autonomous agent architectures.
- Proficiency in Python and modern software development practices.
- A proven record of delivering complex technical projects on time and with high quality.
- An advanced degree in computer science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or a related quantitative field is desirable.
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native ML infrastructure platforms, vector databases, embedding models, model serving frameworks, AI experimentation, or model observability tools is desirable.
- Contributions to open-source ML projects or research publications are desirable.
