Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, performant user-facing and backend systems.
- Contribute to technical strategy and architectural decisions focused on business outcomes.
- Build secure APIs and integrate with third-party services and platforms.
- Use approved AI tooling and agentic workflows, including GitHub Copilot and Claude Code, with sound engineering judgment.
- Own, attribute, and review AI-assisted contributions, including agent-generated code.
- Champion quality, observability, and resilience across delivered software.
- Collaborate with squads and stakeholders while taking ownership of deliverables.
- Share knowledge, mentor colleagues, and help shape responsible AI-assisted engineering practices.
Requirements
- Proven product engineering experience, ideally with C#, TypeScript, ReactJS, or similar technologies.
- Solid understanding of relational databases and cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
- Hands-on experience with or genuine curiosity about AI-assisted development and agentic coding tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Pragmatic, principled approach to quality and continuous improvement.
- Experience running .NET applications in AWS is a bonus.
- Experience with the CWR standard is a bonus.
- Familiarity with the music publishing industry is a bonus.
- Experience establishing or contributing to AI-assisted engineering practices is a bonus.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to work on-site at the Liverpool office in a hybrid role.
