Responsibilities
- Design software specifications and embedded automation software for integrated cooling systems.
- Collaborate with automation engineers, electrical designers, and customers to understand plant or machine requirements.
- Program PLCs using Ladder Diagram, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram.
- Select and configure PLCs, I/O modules, sensors, actuators, HMIs, and industrial networks.
- Simulate and test programs in virtual environments or on test benches.
- Prepare operating instructions and functional logic documentation for firmware.
- Support plant and service teams in containing and resolving production or on-site software malfunctions.
- Adapt and improve existing software solutions for performance and connectivity.
Requirements
- Degree in electronic, automation, or information engineering.
- Familiarity with PLCs.
- Knowledge of C and C++.
- Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols.
- Strong relationship, communication, analytical, and synthesis skills.
- Excellent English language skills.
- Three years of experience in cooling or industrial automation is a plus.
