Responsibilities

  • Develop technical designs for assigned mid-sized projects based on business requirements.
  • Apply database knowledge when designing systems for production.
  • Develop and maintain production applications using clean, well-documented code.
  • Conduct unit, integration, acceptance, and other appropriate test reviews.
  • Document requirements, present findings, and recommend solutions to management.
  • Follow established processes, policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in stand-ups, iteration planning, and other team meetings.

Requirements

  • At least three years of work experience, including experience developing programs for production.
  • High school diploma or GED, with a BS in Computer Science or a related field preferred.
  • Working knowledge of at least one programming language and the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs.
  • Strong server-side web development skills using C# and ASP.NET MVC.
  • Experience with ORM technologies such as NHibernate or Entity Framework against SQL Server.
  • Knowledge of source code repositories and branching strategies; Git knowledge is preferred.
  • Preferred experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, document databases, JavaScript MVVM frameworks, and NServiceBus.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and legally permitted to work in the United States.
