Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, build, and scale AI- and automation-enabled solutions for sustainability data and decision-making.
- Apply agentic AI, predictive analytics, and intelligent workflows to climate, water, packaging, waste, nature, lifecycle-impact, and sustainability-reporting challenges.
- Build data models, features, quality controls, ETL/ELT pipelines, APIs, and distributed-processing capabilities for auditable ESG reporting and compliance.
- Experiment with emerging AI models and technologies and turn successful concepts into secure, responsible, production-ready reusable capabilities.
- Develop high-quality, tested, standards-compliant code and reusable engineering components.
- Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions using DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and responsible engineering practices.
- Partner with sustainability experts, product teams, data professionals, architects, and engineers to integrate sustainability intelligence into business workflows.
Requirements
- Strong foundations in software engineering, AI/ML, data engineering, automation, or cloud engineering.
- Hands-on programming experience and commitment to clean, maintainable, well-tested code.
- Experience with modern data platforms, pipelines, APIs, cloud services, and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
- Curiosity about generative and agentic AI, analytics, automation, and emerging technologies, with an experimentation mindset.
- Strong problem-solving and collaboration skills and the ability to connect technology to business and sustainability outcomes.
- Passion for continuous learning and interest in addressing environmental challenges.
- Prior ESG experience is welcome but not required.
