Responsibilities
- Develop core FortiClient EMS and FortiClient Cloud features across frontend and backend systems.
- Design and lead individual projects with full technical ownership through completion.
- Build and manage microservices to improve performance, scalability, and cloud deployment efficiency.
- Identify system bottlenecks, optimize PostgreSQL and MS SQL schemas, and streamline Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and system reliability across Linux and networking layers.
- Support teammates by resolving blockers and addressing system issues beyond assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Proven initiative, ownership, and experience driving projects to completion while solving broader system issues.
- Strong production experience with Python, Golang, and Angular or equivalent modern frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Django, FastAPI, or Flask.
- Production experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
- Experience designing RESTful APIs and optimizing relational databases including PostgreSQL and MS SQL.
- Strong Linux troubleshooting skills across system, network, and web server layers.
- Preferred experience with NGINX, public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, network topology, WAF configuration, or enterprise security products.
