Base Salary
$148k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect a platform that allows one test case to run across both physical HIL and virtual SIL benches.
- Define requirements and evaluate HIL/SIL tooling alternatives.
- Develop user interfaces for cross-functional engineering teams.
- Design device drivers for precise control and communication within HIL systems.
- Scale SIL cloud infrastructure for advanced battery simulations.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical and software systems using schematics and test equipment.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience, including experience building HIL/SIL platforms or similar hardware-software platforms.
- Proficiency in Python and object-oriented design and software architecture principles.
- Strong electrical engineering fundamentals, including reading schematics and debugging physical hardware.
- Experience with low-level device drivers and embedded communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, and UART.
