Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, maintain, and sustain non-embedded software throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Translate customer requirements into software designs and develop architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and technical documentation.
- Develop and optimize software products and system integrations for platform health management systems.
- Debug software issues, improve product reliability and efficiency, and handle user inquiries and technical feedback.
- Implement relevant technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes in software development.
- Improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics, and execute and document software research and development projects.
- Advise on software domains, system issues, processes, and regulations.
- Perform software project management and supplier management activities and evaluate team and supplier performance for compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- At least 5 years of experience as a software developer.
- At least 2 years of programming experience in C, C#, C++, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with source control management tools such as Git.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred: Level 3 qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related experience.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with Docker or Kubernetes for container-based applications.
- Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with relational or non-relational databases.
- Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with Win-forms, WPF, Blazer, or other Windows/web development technologies.
- Preferred: knowledge of software specifications, requirements traceability, change control, host environments, operating systems, networks, and aircraft or product certification systems.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
