Base Salary

$127k - $171k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, maintain, and sustain non-embedded software throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Translate customer requirements into software designs and develop architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and technical documentation.
  • Develop and optimize software products and system integrations for platform health management systems.
  • Debug software issues, improve product reliability and efficiency, and handle user inquiries and technical feedback.
  • Implement relevant technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes in software development.
  • Improve software processes, tools, and performance metrics, and execute and document software research and development projects.
  • Advise on software domains, system issues, processes, and regulations.
  • Perform software project management and supplier management activities and evaluate team and supplier performance for compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a software developer.
  • At least 2 years of programming experience in C, C#, C++, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience with source control management tools such as Git.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance requiring U.S. citizenship.
  • Preferred: Level 3 qualifications include a relevant bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of directly related experience, or 13+ years of related experience.
  • Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with Docker or Kubernetes for container-based applications.
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of experience with relational or non-relational databases.
  • Preferred: at least 2 years of experience with Win-forms, WPF, Blazer, or other Windows/web development technologies.
  • Preferred: knowledge of software specifications, requirements traceability, change control, host environments, operating systems, networks, and aircraft or product certification systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
